Katutubo Village Outreach for the Aetas

Last November 23, 2013, Project Malasakit went to visit the Katutubo Village at Brgy. Planas, Porac Pampanga to serve 155 Families and 170 Aeta school children with bags, slippers, school supplies, Rice, Noodles, Wow ulam, Shampoo & soap, Toothbrush and old clothes.

It was heart warming that the Aeta children donated one week's harvest to Yolanda victims. One aeta child tells Kara: "Nung nasalanta po kami ng Pinatubo, tinulungan nyo kami. Kaya ngayon, kami naman ang tutulong".

Evacuees from Tacloban received the sacks of fruits and vegetables from the Aetas of Pampanga and one grateful evacuee told me: "Nakakatuwa kasi kahit mahirap ang katayuan nila sa bundok, pero ginintuan ang kanilang puso. Salamat po sa mga katutubong Aeta!"

- Budget: P37,000
- Donor: Ms. Kara Patria David; Veronica Ibarreta; Ghin Chu
