Sitio Apnagan's Ambulansyang de Paa

There are no roads, hospitals, doctors nor health centers in Sitio Apnagan, Bansud, Mindoro Oriental. Many Mangyans in the area die without even seeing a doctor. residents have to walk 4-8 hours just to get their sick to the nearest hospital. They use hammocks as ambulance or carry their sick on their shoulders... a sad image of poverty but likewise a powerful testament to the Filipino's bayanihan spirit.

One year later, Pinoys from all over the Philippines gather funds, school supplies, slippers, etc to help the poor children of Sitio Apnagan Mindoro Oriental.

Salamat sa inyong malasakit!
